At Drs. Davila & Velazquez, our team brings decades of combined expertise in family, cosmetic, and surgical dentistry.

Norberto Velazquez

DMD

Dr. Velazquez graduated from dental school in 2002 and attended a general practice residence (GPR) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma from June of 2002 until June 2003. Shortly after finishing the GPR residence Dr. Velazquez moved to Greenville, NC and worked in Kinston for the J.H. Rose Dental Clinic as the Dental Director for four years. Dr. Velazquez has advanced education in implantology and enjoys working on cosmetic procedures, oral surgery, crown and bridge (prosthetics), implants, and dentures. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine where he enjoys passing on his knowledge to the next generation of dentist. Dr. Velazquez is constantly evaluating innovative systems to keep his skill and his practice in "The Cutting Edge" of technology. He is married to his business partner and colleague Dr. Davila, they have both been working together for their entire careers. His 20+ years of experience and his drive to attend Continuing Education Courses make him a very well seasoned and experienced provider.

Laura J. Dávila

DMD

Dr. Davila graduated from dental school magma cum laude in 2004 and moved that same year to Greenville, NC where she worked in Kinston for the J.H. Rose Dental Clinic for two years before purchasing Dr. Taylor's practice. Dr. Davila furthered her education by attending orthodontic seminars for one year where she received a level I orthodontic certification by the International Association for Orthodontics. She then completed an extensive orthodontic course over the course of two years to stay abreast of the latest information and procedures through Progressive Orthodontics and graduated with honors. She is a Preferred Provider for Invisalign and enjoys working on orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. Dr. Davila is also clinical professor at the East Carolina School of Dental Medicine since 2014. She is married to Dr. Velazquez and together they have 2 daughters, Laura and Noelia and 3 dogs, Rica, Tito & Duke. Laura is currently in Dental School and will be graduating and joining their practice in 2024. On her free time, Dr. Davila enjoys going to the beach and traveling with her youngest daughter, Noelia, to compete in pageants and help her as she enjoys community service and spreading her message through her workshops from her platform, Girl Strong by Noe.

Dr. Bauza

DMD

Dr. Bauza, the eldest daughter of Dr. Davila and Dr. Velazquez, has been connected to the practice since she was just 8 years old. She earned her B.S. in Public Health from East Carolina University and went on to receive her dental degree from ECU’s School of Dental Medicine. Passionate about providing exceptional dental care, Dr. Bauza is dedicated to helping her patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their cat and two dogs, and traveling to sunny, oceanfront destinations.

Dr. King

DMD

Dr. King is a recent graduate of East Carolina University’s renowned School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his degree alongside his colleague, Dr. Bauza. Committed to delivering high-quality dental care, he strives to help every patient achieve a healthy, confident smile. Outside the office, Dr. King enjoys spending time in nature—whether hiking, fishing, or simply taking in the outdoors. At home, he loves unwinding with his dog, Ziggy.
